Tipping Monkey was conceived and built to provide hands-on experience for anyone who wants to get better at their investment game. Our goal is to provide this site to our users in a way that our members will never have to pay for the basic services, such as paper-trading portfolios and blogging.

Eventually, like any Web 2.0 Application, we would be looking at advertising to generate revenue for the site. But until we decide on an advertising model that is non-intrusive to our members and makes sense to us, we will keep this site ad-free and focused around features that our members like.
